It’s here!! The SEPHORA Spring Event is one of my favorite times of the year to stock up on beauty products that I love and use on a daily basis at a fantastic discount.  It is also a great time to splurge on those expensive creams, serums and tools that are investment worthy.  It’s no secret that I love beauty products…but I love them even more when I can find them on sale!

I’m sharing my top picks for make-up, skin care, hair and a few miscellaneous items. Some of these items are my tried and true and a few of these items I’m ordering based on reviews and word of mouth.  Many of these items would make great Mother’s Day Gifts as well.

SMASHBOX Photofinish Primer– Hands down the best primer I have ever used.  This is the secret weapon to getting your foundation to go on silky smooth.

GIORGIO ARMANI Luminous Silk Foundation– I recently switched to this foundation and I love it.  It glides on my face and literally feels like silk, never feels dry or settles in my 50+ year old fine lines, but is hydrating and covers flawlessly.  Use the online color matching system for that perfect color.  I use color 4.75, light skin with rosy undertones. By the way, if you are not using a Beauty Blender to apply your foundation, please start!  It’s the only way to go.

NARS Radiant Cream Concealer– I recently started using this concealer.  It is creamy, light weight and really brightens under my eyes.  I use color Vanilla.

LAURA MERCIER Secret Brightening Under Eye Powder– This is a great setting powder for your eye concealer.  It has very subtle sparkles and gives you an instant glow.  Game changer!  I use Color #1.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo– This perfect combo is a pressed powder and bronzer all in one! Love!

NARS Blush– Color Orgasm…the only blush color you will EVER want!

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter– I only recently started wearing highlighter and it has been a game changer for me.  It instantly brightens up my skin and looks like the sun is glistening on it.  Get the color Moonstone…perfect for EVERY skin tone and place a little big on your cheeks, nose and inner eye area (opens them up).

URBAN DECAY Naked Reloaded Palette– I always love the UD palettes and this one is no exception. These 12 universal eyeshadows are flattering for any age, gender, and skin tone.  I especially love that UC makes the base color pans bigger since these are the shades you will use most. It has a few shimmer shades, transition shades, dark shades, and highlighting shades.

TOM FORD Brow Scultor w/ Refill– I recently discovered this fabulous calligraphy shaped brow pen that goes on so naturally.  It comes with a replacement tip and brow brush and worth every cent.  Where has this been all my life!

DIOR Diorshow Mascara– My all time favorite mascara…enough said!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY Lip Cheat Liner and Hot Lips Lipstick– For the prettiest BERRY lip, my favorite combination is Bond Girl Liner and Secret Salma Lipstick.  These gorgeous colors are so pretty for spring and summer and work on all skin tones. (Great Mother’s Day Gift)

Skin Care:

COOLA Mineral Face Tinted Sunscreen– This sunscreen has a slight tint so you can wear it mixed with your moisturizer in place of your foundation on make-up free days. It is smooth and non-greasy…I really love this product and I use it under my foundation as well.

CLARINS Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil– I first discovered this oil on a trip to the desert at Miraval in Arizona.  My face was so thirsty and this was 10 or so years ago before facial oils were a ‘thing’.  One or two drops warmed up in my hand and pressed on my face gives me a plump, dewy look. Day or night when my face needs an extra ‘drink’ this is the BEST.

DRUNK ELEPHANT C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum– I had been reading about Drunk Elephant for awhile now and was lucky enough to be sent a sample of this amazing serum. Wow!  I instantly noticed improvements on my skin tone, firmness and elasticity and dullness and uneven texture.  This serum is pricey ($80), but a little goes a long way.  Vitamin C serum every a.m., ladies!

BEAUTY BIO GLOPRO Microneedling Tool and Quench Recovery Cream–  I’ve talked about this facial tool before.  I use it every single day and it is like getting a very expensive micro-pixel but you can do it at home. The GLOPRO is a MUST HAVE!  I apply the Quench every night before bed.  It is a heavy cream that is good for hydration, dryness, fine lines and dullness…basically my 50+ year old skin!  Also great for post retinol or chemical treatments and a must after long flights when your skin is extra thirsty.

SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes– Lactic acid is great for your skin because it helps smooth, hydrate and naturally exfoliate your skin. This is a blogger recommended favorite so I’m going to try it.

Rose Quartz Facial Roller– If you do not own one of these, get one. The best tip I ever got for facial rolling was the recommendation to put it in the fridge! OMG it feels so cool and amazing on my skin!

Hair Products:

OLAPLEX Bond Maintenance Shampoo, OLAPLEX Conditioner and OLAPLEX Hair Perfector No. 3–  I started using all three of these products about 4 months ago and have seen a huge improvement in the strength and health of my hair.

MORACCAN Treatment– This oil is just so good for your hair, and it smells divine.  I place a very small amount of this on the ends of my hair before I blow dry to help with frizz. Always have, always will.

IGK Dry Shampoo–  This was recommended by my favorite blogger so I’m going to try it. It cleanses even the most oily hair and scalp with an oil-erasing, odor-eliminating charcoal powder.

DYSON Hair Dryer Set–  This bundle pack is a great deal and with the spring event discount, I think this is just too good to pass up.  $399 is a lot for a blow dryer, but this gadget is life-changing! (Great Mother’s Day Gift)

SEPHORA Ready to Roll Brush Set– All the essentials make-up brushes (10) that you will ever need.  It is a $195 value for only $70. (Great Mother’s Day Gift)

JO MALONE– I can never do a favorite beauty post without mentioning my all time favorite fragrance, Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I always stock up on this scent when I can get it on sale.  I also picked up some hand soap and candles, because why not?  Another beautiful fragrance is the Peony & Blush Suede. (Great Mother’s Day Gift)
