I love discovering brands and sharing them with you and today’s brand spotlight is highlighting a gorgeous Brazilian line called Farm Rio. Crafted with an exotic, toes-in-the-sand spirit that’s simultaneously fashion-forward and vintage-inspired, each piece will fill your senses! Think liberating silhouettes and vibrant colors and prints that match your mood after finishing a glass of rosé.
Brand Spotlight: Farm Rio
This is my very first dance with Farm Rio and I can tell you I am swooning! Launched in 1997 in Brazil by Kátia Barros, Farm Rio is now sold globally and excels in creating playfully-patterned warm-weather wares that are primed for vacation.
Each collection, which is packed with more than 400 prints, gives a joyful nod to the eclectic culture, vivid colors and striking nature found in Brazil. With everything from banana to punchy polka dot prints, the brand has a special design team that strategically pairs each garment with the perfect pattern. The label is also heavy on traditional feminine details, like puff sleeves, lace trims and ruffles, as well as rainbow-hued crochet and samba-friendly silhouettes.
For each purchase on their website, in stores and at other authorized retailers, the brand donates one tree to be planted in the Amazon rainforest. Up until May 2020, Farm Rio has already donated 50.000 trees to be planted in the Amazon.
I have quickly fallen in love with Farm Rio’s entire collection of dresses, blouses, skirts and beach wear.
Outfit Details:
The gorgeous print and vibrant pink and red colors in this Azalea Maxi Dress ($290) won me over at first sight. The maxi length works perfect for me but this print also comes in a mini length as well as some other styles that I have shown below. It has a built in half slip and is super comfortable and cool. I’m ready for a back yard BBQ, date night or even better, a dreamy beach vacay…but that might have to wait until these soon to be empty nesters get our boys back at school. I’ll definitely have this dress ready for our next resort trip!
I hope you also noticed the stunning earrings and matching ring I have on. These are from a designer jewelry line out of LA called Marcia Moran, also with a Brazilian influence. I’m wearing two pieces from her Coral Collection, the Laila Chandelier Earrings and the Adela Coral Cocktail Ring. Marcia’s semi-precious stone and precious plated jewelry continue to stand out for its balance of timeless elegance and playful fashion. Rooted in precious Brazilian resources and fused with California lifestyle, this jewelry is worn by A-listers on the red carpet, in photo shoots and in interviews! My Gigi Pip Hat is sold out but this Straw Hat is very similar!
