Easter Dressing In Pretty Pastels

Happy April! It is a beautiful time of year…the flowers and trees are blooming and I can’t get over how green everything is.
Can you believe Easter is only 3 weeks away? It’s time to start thinking about what you will be wearing and pretty pastels are the colors of the Easter season.

EASTER DRESSES IN PRETTY PASTELS

I did this shoot at the same place in Highland Park where I took my wedding portraits 26 years ago. Versailles Park is still as beautiful now as it was then.

My cutout bell sleeve sweater dress (only $148) by Eliza J is the prettiest lilac color and the fit and flare silhouette fits like a glove. The bell sleeves are detailed with tear-drop pointelle. It also comes in a similar blue shade at 40% off. For reference, I am wearing a size SM.

A simple silver strappy sandal completes this look.

What does your family usually do for Easter? It was so fun when the boys were little. We would always go to church then head to my mother-in-law’s home for an Easter egg hunt and brunch with extended family. These days, it is hard to have everyone home but we always attend Easter service at our church and a family brunch.
