I was recently introduced to Ellie Kai through a woman I highly respect and admire in the fashion business. When she reached out to me and asked me to try Ellie Kai, I jumped at the chance. Ellie Kai is a unique shopping experience in that the customer picks the silhouette and fabrics of each garment and the clothing is made to order with an approximate turn around time of 3 weeks.

THE BENEFITS OF CUSTOM MADE CLOTHING
There are some major perks to ordering a custom piece through Ellie Kai:
- You can choose the length of your dress. Ellie Kai offers short (mini), regular and long (maxi) lengths. So, depending on your height or the occasion , you pick your desired length.
- Ellie Kai also offers extended sizing, ranging from XXS-XL which is wonderful for the petite or the plus sized woman.
- Ellie Kai’s designs are unique. You are not likely to walk into a party seeing the same person in exactly the same outfit because there are so many different fabrics and silhouettes to choose from, each carefully chosen by the customer.

I ordered the Ellie Kai front tie dress in the palm print. This dress looks fabulous with espadrilles or flat sandals and is made of the best stretch knit which doesn’t wrinkle and is travel friendly. I’m wearing a size SM. Dresses range in price from $185-$250.

This Ellie Kai Tie Halter blouse might be my favorite item. I absolutely love the 100% silk camo print fabric I chose with hues of blue, lavender, grey and white. There are 18 different styles of tops, ranging in price from $140-$180. I’m wearing a size SM.
My navy Ultra Suede Jacket is absolutely stunning! I will live in this drapey, yet edgy open-draped jacket which can be worn all year long. It’s perfect thrown over my camo blouse, but I also love it worn over a simple white tee shirt or even dressed up over a column of all white or cream. It comes in 7 gorgeous colors, including chocolate, grey, merlot and hot pink. You have to check this one out! I’m wearing a size SM and the retail price is $250.
