The season’s warmer weather is a time to celebrate with margaritas on the patio calling our names. Visualizing this time wouldn’t be complete without a roundup of the hottest sandal trends to wear while you’re enjoying the sunny days ahead. Deciding on my favorites to share was hard to narrow down, but today I’m sharing 5 hot sandal trends to embrace in 2023 and my favorites I’ll be wearing now and later, on the repeat.

Trend 1: Go Natural

From raffia to jute to cork, natural materials just scream spring and summer. I love the beachy vibe of all things natural.

A chunky platform elevates this dreamy square-toed sandal wrapped in cork for a decadent serving of beachside-chic. I’ve been wearing these Van Eli Moyra Sandals non stop! They literally go with EVERYTHING.

The Lila from Cecelia New York is the perfect flower flat. They are sophisticated, comfortable and come in 28 stunning colors. I’m wearing the ‘nude’ but have my eye on others.

Trend 4: Barbi World

It’s a Barbi World…who else is excited for the upcoming movie? Get ready for a pink explosion, and I mean everything. Let’s start with some gorgeous pink shoes.

The Perfect Arabesque Wedge from Sarah Flint in Positano Pink has my heart. With a touch of orange, I’m obsessed with this color combo and the woven wedge make these so fun for summer fun. Code: SARAHFLINT-BATRULYMEGAN for $50 off your first pair of Sarah Flint shoes.

Trend 5: Knot It

Knots in our necklaces? Nope. But knot details on our shoes? Here. For. It. The simple twist has been spotted on everything from puff-leather sandals like Miu Miu’s to sleek heels (a la Saint Laurent), and it works equally well on both, adding a bit of visual interest to otherwise minimalist silhouettes.

My good friend Tom Lindsay started Allegra James Shoes after years as the luxury shoe buyer for Neiman Marcus. This brand strikes the balance between femininity, sophistication and playfulness. Shown are the Crystal Sandal in gold vegan leather with a chunky platform heel and a gorgeous hand-knot in the center. Dress them down with jeans or dress them up for cocktail, you’ll get stopped every time you wear them.
