Many of you know I have been in the direct sales fashion industry for almost 20 years. When the company I had been with for most of my career suddenly announced it was closing its doors in early 2020, something else was waiting to reveal itself to me. Getting son #3 graduated and off to college plus creating content for my blog would become the main focus of 2020 (and of course surviving Covid) but God had another very exciting plan!

Lela Rose is a born and bred Dallas-cite, living in NYC who has created beautiful clothing sold in Neiman Marcus, Saks, Stanley Korshak and other high end stores as well as a stunning Bridal collection. Two years ago, she created the more casual, Pearl by Lela Rose collection.

At Pearl, we make clothes for women like us: fun, fabulous & effortlessly stylish. Created by beloved designer Lela Rose, our pieces work hard, play harder, and look (and feel) great. A Few of My Favorite Items from Pearl:

I absolutely adore this Sky Blue Stretch Cotton Suit. The Cotton Wrap Jacket has a flap back and spread collar with removable tie belt. The Susie Pant is Pearl’s best selling pant with it’s slim straight leg, flat front and hidden side zip. This fabric is thick and gutsy and feels so luxurious! Notice the tiny little pearl sewn on the lower left side of the jacket. This is the Pearl signature sewn on the outside of every garment in the collection. For size reference I am wearing an XS in the jacket and Size 2 in the pant.

This Multi Stripe Flutter Dress is the perfect run around dress! You can dress it up with a little pump or throw it on with sandals. It would also be perfect for running to the pool over your swim suit. I actually wore this dress to my son’s high school graduation last week. The flutter sleeves give it a feminine touch and the comfort level is a 10! For size reference I am wearing an XS.
