Today I’m sharing my full review of Caraway Cookware and 6 reasons I’m loving this set.
I recently decided it was time for new cookware. We were in need of an upgrade after having pots and pans that just weren’t functioning for us. Of course, I didn’t just want any cookware set, I wanted one that looked aesthetically pleasing, was non-stick and safe to use. After seeing Caraway Cookware all over the internet and reading great reviews (over 65,000 5 star reviews), I ordered the Caraway Classic Cookware set in navy. Although I’m not a chef by any means and cooking is not a top love of mine, I do appreciate good, quality cookware.

What is Caraway Cookware:
Caraway is a premium collection of high-quality pieces known for their stylish design, non-toxic, and eco-friendly materials. Caraway Home offers a range of cookware options, from non-stick pans, bakeware, food storage and prepware, all carefully crafted for functionality and aesthetics. Founded in 2019, this cookware brand got its start after founder and CEO Jordan Nathan decided to dig a little deeper into the potential dangers of certain nonstick cookware coatings. Packed in a highly Instagram-able box, the $395 classic cookware set contains a 10.5-inch frypan and a 3-quart saucepan, 4.5-quart sauté pan, and 6.5 -quart Dutch oven with lids. In addition, the set includes storage racks and a canvas holder for the 3 lids, meant to be installed inside a cabinet door.
Caraway pots and pans are made of aluminum with stainless-steel bases and handles. The exteriors have a matte enamel finish available in several beautiful colors.
Caraway Cookware Review: 6 Reasons To Love
1. Non Toxic
If you’ve ever owned traditional cookware with a non-stick Teflon coating, you’ll know that eventually, that coating starts to come off. When your pan reaches a temperature of 500 degrees, that Teflon coating can also start releasing toxic chemicals. Which means it’s probably in your food that you’re eating. Caraway ceramic-coated cookware is 100% non-toxic, free of PTFE (such as Teflon), PFOA, PFAs, lead, cadmium, nickel and other toxic metals. Zero toxins means you have a 0% chance of being exposed to fumes that could harm yourself, your family and your pets. Why is this important? Exposure to Teflon fumes can affect your health, and this is so common that doctors have given the effect its own name: the Teflon Flu. Similar to the standard flu, symptoms include sore throat, coughing, headaches, muscle aches, and fevers between 100-104°F, and typically lasts two to three days. Long term exposure has been linked to cancer, lower sperm count, behavioral issues and birth defects.
2. Non Stick
The way you treat your Caraway cookware makes a world of difference. High heat is a big no-no; it’s not just about the food burning, but it also compromises the integrity of that non-stick ceramic coating. By using the highest quality ceramic coating, the longevity of their non-stick is guaranteed, without the markup like other brands. The nonstick ceramic and aluminum core of the pots and pans in the Caraway Cookware Set heats everything evenly—and I mean everything: Rice won’t stick, a fried egg won’t stick, and scrambled eggs won’t stick. The nonstick ceramic is so reliable there’s really no need for oil or butter when cooking.
3. Easy to Clean
The ceramic surface makes cleaning up a breeze! All you need is warm, soapy water and a gentle scrub to keep these pans looking fresh. Technically these pieces are dishwasher safe, but the company recommends limiting how often they go through a cycle, so for the long term, I’m opting to keep the pans out of the dishwasher. The only time I’ve had to use a little elbow grease is when I’ve over cooked spaghetti sauce and in that case, I use a non-abrasive cleaner like Bar Keeper’s Friend. The set comes with a handy Cleaning Eraser sponge to help remove stains and keep them looking as good as new.
4. Even Heating & Oven Safe
Caraway cookware distributes and retains its temperature more effectively than traditional cookware. Pots and pans heat up very quickly and it’s advised to use low to medium heat when cooking. The cookware’s ceramic nonstick finish can be heated to temps as high as 500°F in the oven, and the stainless steel bases are stovetop agnostic, meaning they get along with all burners and stovetops. The stainless steel handles do get hot, even on a cooktop, so be prepared to wear oven mitts when handling the cookware.
5. Thoughtful Storage
One of the signature elements of Caraway Home Cookware is its included storage system: a hanging lid holder and set of pan racks. I like being able to display this beautiful cookware on my counters and the storage racks allow me to do so. If you would rather not have them out, you can easily put the racks in a deep drawer. It’s recommended not to stack you cookware. The hanging lid holder is made of canvas and the lids slip right in. My cabinet doors were slightly too short and slim for the holder, but it hangs perfectly on my pantry door, just within reach from cooktop.
6. Color Options/Design
Meant to stand out, Caraway designs are completely innovative, with unique color ways and a sleek pan curvature designed for function with a fashionable edge. As an added bonus, Caraway Cookware comes in a variety of aesthetically pleasing colors, including Sage, Cream, Perracotta, Navy, and Gray. With a beautiful pop of color, your kitchen is sure to be brightened up. The splash of color and the minimalistic look to your kitchen makes for an appealing and less overwhelming space.
In my honest opinion, this cookware is a great investment! Caraway won’t just help keep your kitchen looking beautiful; it will also keep your food beautiful and healthy as well.
