If you are looking for graduation gifts to honor that boy or girl, then I’ve got you covered! Today I’m sharing my high school graduation gift guide because the Class of 2020 deserves to feel EXTRA special!
High School Graduation Gift Guide
This is round 3 for me so I feel like I’ve become pretty versed in purchasing and recommending items that the soon to be college freshman will find handy and useful. As a note, I suggest gravitating towards retailers like Horchow and Mark and Graham because they personalize for you!
Let’s dive right in with my top picks for boys and girls!
Graduation Gifts For Boys:
Jon Hart makes lasting pieces and I have loved gifting this personalized catchall over the years. My boys have collected several Jon Hart luggage items including the weekender and the shave kit. The JH Key Fob is a great gift as well! I have found turnaround time to be very quick!
Boys completely dig hanging the Texas Flag (or your home state flag) in their dorm room. Get it monogrammed for that personal touch. My boys have really enjoy receiving personalized poker sets. I walk through SMU almost every day and it’s so fun to see all the kids hanging in hammocks, so this gift is definitely on my gifting radar.
Tool kits are super handy as are personalized utility knives like this Swiss Army and this beautiful Wooden Knife.
Monogrammed Cufflinks are a beautiful gift for him. Boys attend so many formals in college and this way they can hopefully keep up with their baubles. Wallets and money clips are also wonderful gifts.
Graduation Gifts For Girls:
Girls adore anything personalized like jewelry cases, make-up pouches, and key chains. I have gifted this pink tool kit over the years. Some great things to gift would be a Slip pillowcase, a handy steamer for her dorm room, an Acrylic Catchall, and this super functional bedside shelf.
Laying out on sunny weekends are a must in college so a monogrammed beach towel is sure to delight her. She will also need a cute personalized rain jacket and this popular one is on sale and of course, a monogrammed umbrella!
This expandable beauty board is PERFECT for tight spaces like small apartments and dorm rooms! It solves the problem of little to no counter space for your skincare & makeup routine and is currently on sale.
If you want a fun DIY, order Vinyl Monograms and grab this acrylic trash can or a yeti tumbler and create your own!
Graduation Gifts For Both:
Personalized towels are dorm room essentials and a compact Keurig would make a great gift for late night studying. Tile finders come in handy to keep track of computers, phones and keys.
If you are looking for a clever gift this small safe is perfect for valuables and a courant wireless charger would come in super handy.
Supporting small businesses is important during this time as well. Please check out Haute Stuff Dallas, locally owned by my good friend Delaney W. She and her business partner will be posting more graduation gifts in the coming days and they will gift wrap and white glove (or blue latex) delivery for free or offer porch pick ups!
Lastly, make sure your own graduate has personalized notecards so he/she can write those thank you’s.

Lisa- that is a GREAT gift too! How did I leave that out? My oldest son received one with a supply of tide pods. Super handy! Thank you!
